SFSA - Biotech in agriculture Genome editing

Dear Participants,

The International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB) and the University of Stellenbosch, in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy in South Africa and the Department of Science and Innovation (DSI) are delighted to invite participation in the sessions on “Biotech in agriculture Genome editing” and “Plant microbiomes” that are taking place in digital room 2 within the seventh annual Science Forum South Africa (SFSA) on Thursday, 2 December 2021, from 09:00 to 10:30 and 11:00 to 12:30 respectively. The sessions will take place on the SFSA 2021 digital platform co-hosted with the CSIR International Convention Centre as part of the Tshwane Science Diplomacy Capital initiative. As always, registration is free, and participation is encouraged by all with an interest in the role of science and society.
