The Mission of the Directorate is to provide quality Postgraduate training opportunities with emphasis on dryland agriculture, natural resources and environmental management among other disciplines.
The Board of Postgraduate Studies provides high quality services and programmes that promote the personal and professional development of diverse, non-traditional constituencies that internal and external to the University.
The Directorate is mandated to provide and manage, postgraduate programmes in the University by co-coordinating, formulating and developing policies and programmes in collaboration with the schools in the University. It envisions itself as a globally innovative unit for co-ordination of postgraduate training.
The current population of postgraduate students stands at 635 Masters and 91 PhD spread across different programmes in schools in all the Campuses.
For admission into any of our postgraduate programmes, the admission forms can be downloaded from the South Eastern Kenya University Website. The entry requirements for each programme are clearly indicated for each course.
