The 2022/2023 SEKUSA Student Governing Council Officials were sworn into office in a function that was well attended by the University management, staff and students. Taking oath of office, the 2022/2023 Chairman, Mr. Tony Muvengei thanked his predecessor, Mr. Brian Kibet for steering the student community through his exemplary leadership to its current great state. He promised to work together with the University Management and the students for the overall good of the institution and those that will come later.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Geoffrey Muluvi lauded the outgoing Student Governing Council for choosing dialogue with the management as a way of handling student matters. He encouraged the new team to borrow a leaf from them. He promised the new team, the university management’s unwavering support as we are all working towards one common vision, to be a globally competitive centre of excellence in teaching, research, innovation and service.
