In conjunction with the AIDS Control Unit, we have been able to organize health weeks where we invite experts from the health sector; for example, from 16th to 20th March, 2021, Equity Afya medical partnered with us in conducting full body check-ups to both our students and staff members.
The health unit also worked hand in hand with Kitui Rural Sub County health team to sensitize and push for Covid-19 vaccination and testing in October 2021.
In December 2021, we participated in a training on Tuberculosis in Machakos County which mainly enlightened us on proper management of the killer disease and new ways of handling Tuberculosis patients.
